PEOPLE

They . . . loved learning about the environment they were in and appreciating the importance of the diversity and preserving the natural habitat.

Crickhowell High School

Connecting people with wildlife and wild places is very important to us. At Cambrian Wildwood we run programmes for local primary schools and secondary schools. We offer a wide range of activities, from learning about Fibonacci’s number patterns in nature to carving spoons around a campfire, and from sleeping out under the stars in summer to identifying trees in winter. We also offer programmes for adults from a diverse range of backgrounds..

When the COVID19 pandemic made it impossible for us to welcome our groups to Bwlch Corog, rather than resting on our laurels, we teamed up with Arts Drop to create Nature Arts Drop, ensuring that we continued to support children and young people in our area. Read more about Nature Arts Drop.
