We are pleased to announce that the charity has been donated free office accommodation in Aberystwyth. This will provide a significant boost to the project, by giving us a presence in the town centre and saving us thousands of pounds a year in office costs. It comes at a very appropriate moment when we are about to recruit staff to take the project to the next stage (see article on crowdfunding appeal). The accommodation was arranged by a brilliant organisation Centric Community Projects who work with landlords of empty properties to provide free space for charities and other non-profit organisations. We will announce our address and show a photo of the new office in the next Newsletter.

Good afternoon,
I am writing to you from a children’s charity in Oxfordshire. We are really hoping to secure some donated office space, just as you were able to do and was wondering if someone may be available to give us some information regarding the process of this? Any details like how easy it was, how it came about or any tips in general would be so useful for us.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Jodie King
Hi Jodie,
We were contacted by a charity called Centric that sets up empty office space for charities to use http://centricprojects.org. In the end it fell through with us, as the landlord found a paying tenant.
Good luck!
Simon
